The festive season is just around the corner and with it comes one of Ōpōtiki’s most loved events!

This year’s Ōpōtiki Float Parade will take place on Friday, 19 December 2025, from 5:30pm to 6:30pm, and we’re calling on our community to join us in celebrating Unity in the Community Kotahitanga.

At its heart, this parade is about connection, bringing together workplaces, kura, kōhanga, clubs, businesses and whānau from across our district. It’s a time to showcase the pride, colour and aroha that make Ōpōtiki truly special.

From handmade decorations to cheerful Christmas characters and music echoing through the streets, the Float Parade is a reminder that when we come together, our small town shines the brightest.
